My name is Louisa Magoon.  A few years ago a dear friend invited me to her home for a tea party and asked me to bring a tea pot.  I had never been to such a party before and the only "tea pot" I owned whistled on the stove!  I went out and bought a pretty tea pot and went to the party.  I loved it!  Then a dear friend at work invited me to go with her to a tea room and my love for tea was solidified.  I've had many tea parties at my home, visited many tea rooms and often thought about opening my own tea room you know, "someday."  In 2010, the restaurant company where I worked for twenty-one years was sold.  I decided this was the perfect time to open my own tea room.

I've studied and read everything I can about tea and received my certificate as a Tea Specialist from Dawnya Sasse with Tea Events.  Dawnya is well known in the tea business and has educated hundreds of tea business owners around the world.  Dawnya teaches you how to "Make Your Tea Dream a Reality."

I am the person greeting you for tea and helping you in our gift shop.  My daughter Leola is the chef and prepares the delicious dishes we serve.  We are very excited about this venture and chapter in our lives.  We invite you and your friends to share it with us.  You will have a wonderful tea time.
